#EndSARS Protest: DAYSS Committee Preaches Peace, Implore Youths To Approach State's Panel Of Inquiry

It's no news that the national #EndSARS protest has not only halt the economic progression of our society but has also disrupt all socio-political activities in the country, hence the immediate call for the postponement of Dapo Abiodun Youth Support Scheme.

Being a programme staged for the youth, DAYSS was postponed till a peaceful atmosphere overtakes the seeming havoc— hoodlums who had overtook the excercise that was meant to maintain a negotiation for a better governance.

Ogun state being a clime characterized with peaceful citizens and sensible youths, have since the uprising of the peaceful demonstrations tagged #EndSARS — maintained a dovish position in relating to the protesters, this has in turn led to the low turn out of violence in the state.

It's on this note, the committee and stakeholders of the Dapo Abidoun Youth Support Scheme without yet announcing a new date for the staging of the empowerment programme, come out  boldly as a youthful body to lend their voice towards dousing of the hijacked protest and other insurrections ravaging the peace of the state.

Obviously,  the Dapo Abiodun led administration has since its inception run a youth loving government— this is imminent in his attitude and character towards youths development.

All well meaning citizens and youths are hereby implored to approach the state panel and desist from all criminal acts that could demean and deface the sanity of our dear state among league states. The Ogun state we hoped for can't be realized if we channel our mind towards the path of destruction other than development.
