Sen. Tolu Odebiyi' Achievements, Headache With No Panacea To The Shallow Minded

The heat of hatred that revolves around the working senator of Ogun west, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi within a year and half of being in office is beyond one the whole earth turns on Lucifer. For reasons unknown and unanswerable questions, some clansmen of the senator and other recruited enemies who are scattered and heterogeneous in nature have made throwing of tantrums and vilifications their dailiness.

Often times I ask myself the question of "why people dauntingly hops on some personality who are active while making a blind eyes to the passive ones". Let it be on record that, "no other incumbent senator of Ogun state has done half of what this great man has achieved. As a newcomer, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has always strive to meet the needs of the people. getting mentored by bigwigs of the party who are strongholds of the 9th senate, he has achieved more than expected,  but to the "myopians", he has done nothing. 

While in transit a while ago, I tentatively listen as the  bus driver highlights reasons why no Ogun western have smell the governorship seat, of what he said, I underlined the statement of "HYPOCRISY", He narrated proverbial story, few lines of which i recall are, "when wealth was coming from heaven, It branched the Ijebus clan who warmly and unitedly embrace it; hence reason why they are wealthy. Honour came to the Egbas— who gave it a more beffiting home welcoming, reason why they are honorable. but when hypocrisy came looking for an abode, some Yewas lend a hand of help and embedded its nature into their culture, reason for the hypocritical nature of some Yewas.

Hope the above brief explains why no one attacks the Ogun East and Central Senators but many bootlickers and data boy launches incessant  attacks on the Ogun west senator. 

Senator Tolu Odebiyi has undoubtedly become the headace of many who were myopic to see beyond the obvious and those whose ambition beclouds their emotions. With no appreciative gesture from his constituents, the lone ranger who many calls the "only recognized senator of Ogun state" has yet relented in working assiduously for the resuscitation of Ogun west' lost glory, but got verbal attacks from his constituents for bringing to the table what no one has ever brought to them. 

Of the lots of many childish vilifications thrown by these unappreciative constituents was the one being launched at the recent empowerment Scheme (which in all manners was a litmus paper for the biggest empowerment coming up early next year) this was an empowerment programme where 120 participants (40 participants from Ado/Odo Ota Local government, 20 from Imeko LG, 20 from Ipokia LG, 20 from Yewa North and the other 20 from Yewa South) went home with empowerment materials, but to the evil-conversation starters, the senator should  have bought cars for the party bigwigs and his loyalist instead of giving back to the society.

Overtly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi being their daily subject of discuss is a blessing in disguise,  the more you talk about him, the more you push him towards betterment. Morever, he still have enormous time to spend in the office as  representative of the people, and only those who maintains patience as the greatest virtue will enjoy immensely the benefit of democracy.

It's high time the people of Ogun west desist from the game of blackmailing their very own, but rather engage in  constructive criticisms that would fasttrack the development of Yewa land. If we could all join hands in promoting sons of the soil, we'll in no time produce a number one citizen of the state from our senatorial district. "Let's wrap our shame with  a worthy linen and correct our mistakes without outsider's reflection."
