Many of Omotosho Modiu’s lies against Hon. Isiaka, flawed public deception

In recent days, a series of baseless accusations and falsehoods have been spread by Omotosho Modiu regarding Hon. Isiaka Aderohunmu. It is imperative to address these misleading claims and set the record straight for the public.

Mr. Modiu has at on time alleged that Hon. Isiaka had a hand in the kidnapping of his father. However, the truth is that his father was lawfully arrested by enforcement agencies due to his involvement in activities related to the Obaship tussle. There is no connection between Hon. Isiaka and this incident. His father was later released on bail and charged to court, but Modiu Omotoso has never come out to tender an apology for misinforming the public over his father's alleged kidnapping.

Another unfounded accusation made by Modiu is that Hon. Isiaka orchestrated kaoline mining on his ancestral land. Despite these claims, no evidence has been presented to support this accusation. Hon. Isiaka challenges Modiu to make any proof he has public for scrutiny. He should bring real pictorial evidence  of the kaoline miners and the name of the company if related to Hon. Isiaka in any way.

Moreover, the allegations of battery are also false. On the day Abogunrin's thugs caused mayhem in the community, the commissioner was at the palace discussing with the king how to contain the unrest. He was not near the victim, nor did he direct anyone to batter Mrs. Surra Orishadare. Everyone in the community was a victim of vandalism caused by hoodlums loyal to Abogunrin Sunday.

It is essential to emphasize that the reputation and authority of the governments surpasses individual interests in the state and ward. Any attempts to tarnish the governor’s name or undermine the legitimacy of traditional rulers are unwarranted. The Obaship choice was made following due process and respect for tradition, which should be acknowledged.

Modiu is a mere sponsored writer who dishes out baseless and watery accusations to dent the image of the commissioner. The public should hereby note that, Omotosho Modiu’s actions are driven by ulterior motives aimed at defaming Hon. Isiaka Aderohunmu’s character and reputation.

The public is urged not to take his words seriously and recognize him as a purveyor of misinformation.
